Steel Driver
Is Regular Flex Steel Shaft OK?
Alright, I'm looking at a Cobra Baffler 3H Hybrid Club with a regular flex Steel Shaft for $35. I hit my driver about 275 yards on average and my other woods are stiff Flex Graphite Shafts. Is this regular flex steel shaft OK to work with here or am I looking at a shaft that's too flexible for my swing?
I wouldn't go for it.
It would cause a mismatch in Shaft Flex in your set. You would then need to swing slower with the 3H then all your other clubs. Nothing good can come from that.

About Steel Rims And The Benefits Of The Chrome Wheel
When automobile production first began decades ago, the universal rims provided by car manufacturers with their vehicles were steel rims. These steel rims were standard on almost every vehicle, and drivers generally had few or no options when it came to switching these steel rims for other rims. This was because rims made of other materials had not yet been developed, and it would be some time before alternatives to steel rims hit the open market.
Some time after the invention of the automobile, however, manufacturers of car parts began to develop rims using newly discovered materials, such as alloys. Rims made of these alloys would eventually come to replace steel rims as the industry standard.
An alloy is simply a combination or mixture of two or more different metals, that when combined, are stronger and more durable than either of the original two metals in their pure form. Because of this, alloy rims are stronger and better than steel rims, making them the rims of choice for many drivers and car manufacturers. Alloy rims are also lighter than steel rims, and this provides drivers with greater control and handling over their vehicles.
The advent of the chrome wheel came with the development of methods to coat objects with thin layers of metal. In this case, alloy rims are covered with a layer of chrome. Some people mistakenly believe that a chrome wheel is made entirely of the metal chromium, but this is false. Instead, standard alloy rims undergo a process whereby it is coated with a thin layer of Chrome Metal. This gives the rims the shine and luster associated with the chrome wheel.
To many, the chrome wheel is simply another fixture in the hip hop culture scene, where cars are made as extravagant and flashy as possible with the use of many a shiny chrome wheel. While it is true that the chrome wheel has been widely used simply for the sake of appearances, it does have practical benefits for drivers who choose to use chrome rims instead of simply alloy rims in their vehicles.
The plating covering a chrome wheel imparts a few important advantages to chrome rims that regular rims lack. The first of these is that a chrome wheel is highly resistant to corrosion – much more so than regular alloy rims. This is because chrome is a very unreactive metal and the chrome plating also provides an added layer of defense against corrosion. A chrome wheel is also able to withstand more extreme temperatures and weather conditions than a regular wheel. Finally, a chrome wheel is much stronger and more durable than a regular wheel.
All of these benefits make chrome wheels much more attractive to many drivers as compared to regular wheels. If you are interested in maintaining a higher standard of safety while on the roads, then you should definitely think about replacing the standard wheels on your car with chrome wheels. There is a world of difference just waiting to be discovered by you.
